FS: 51" Sony Rear Projection HDTV

Post by JohnyRico »

Due to multiple inquiries, here are the details.

51" Sony KP51WS500 Rear Projection HDTV
http://www.amazon.com/Sony-Widescreen-P ... B00008OAIL

It does all mode upto and including 1080i (Sorry to old for 1080p)
It has 2x HD Component In.
1x DVI In.
3 Regular Composite/S-Video Inputs (1 which is on the front for easy access.)
Has Programmable remote, to control other components, is it excellent condition.

It can be seen working with HD Satellite or Xbox360 or even HD DVD Movie.

My price is firm.

$900 I will not part with below this price, because it is also under warranty until August 1, 2008.

It was bought new August 1, 2003.

Find it cheaper and quantify your statement.

I see it for $1500 still.

Edit: sorry I don't mean some bloke who is out to sell theirs off for cheap, I checked online stores. (but post it here by all means, I don't mind if it is found cheaper for those who want to by a big screen)

don't forget, the purchaser gets 10 months of peace mind that their used products isn't a waste. (warranteeeee) I would knock off more if it didn't have it.
Cause it'd be shitty if it gave out in a couple of months if it had no warranty.

Believe it or not... twas a product that sony actually made that never did have a rootkit. I did not have to replace it all.
It was free of rootkits... it is from the era of Sony being less paranoid than they are now. :D

w00t!

Someone could've had a free Brand new TV!

At the end of warranty I had the TV submitted under the extended warranty for a tiny tilt I could see... repair dude claims he couldn't see it.

Wife says she never seen it either...

Anyways, it was there, and they got back to me and said it is not cost effective to repair the TV, they are going to have to replace it.

I'll know more details this week about the replacement plan.

This is what my TV has been replaced with.

http://www.sonystyle.ca/commerce/servle ... 473n100461

Edit:
Fuck...
I wrote down the wrong model when I posted the link above.

http://www.sonystyle.ca/commerce/servle ... 473n100458

Is the replacement unit.
And I got the price lowered to $1884!
Price you ask? well, I was given a replacement value of about $2600 for old tv, so the cheaper I get them on the TV, the more I have to buy accessories with!
So got the tv for the amount above and another 4 years warranty for like $2385, leaving me with $223 credit. so I can get a stand, I am thinking of Wall Mounting it, and the mounts go for about $150--$200.
