Good Luck they all sold a long time ago. The only place to look now would be ebay. Rob had that FX60 which would work too but it's hella expensive and prob sold by now. Seriously, a 3800+ X2 will do a good job of most games. I run one and I am happy with it thus far. Very stable and overclockable too if need be.

I need one too. This 3000+ 939 is getting dated.

Joe, I have my 3700+ 1mb 939 single core at home doing nothing. I'd sell it to you for very cheap if you're interested

Hmm, tempting. how much? Maybe PM me. It won't be a lot better than what I have but if the price is right I might take you up on that.

Fibre, i found some retail s939 chips at best comp.

AMD Athlon64 4000+ 1M 2.4G S939 OEM 30Day Warranty.............................. $117.00

AMD Athlon64 X2 3800+ 1M 2.0G S939 DualCore Box................................. $199.00

Pretty decent. Better than the $500 someone wanted to charge me for a used X2 4800+. This 3800+ will probably reach those speeds overclocked anyways. Personally, I would rather upgrade to a Core 2 than blow $200 on old technology.

LOL

I sold a FX-60 here for $250 a couple week ago, nobody wanted it, too bad.

I also sold a 4400+ and some ram to mertz for like $150 or something like that...

Some people don't want to get rid of their 939 systems yet, because AM2 fucking sucks, and to upgrade to a Core2, you need new mobo, new cpu, new ram...

That's not a cheap upgrade... Probably about $500.

Yeah, that's so not the reason people are still using 939.
People are still using 939 because they don't want to buy a motherboard, cpu, and ram just to upgrade a cpu.
