I am experimenting with position and height of wall mounting the TV

Here are some pics, I am probably going to move it yet.
Don't worry the wall is fuxored... so I might as well figure it out, patch the wall, sand it, paint it and then do a final mounting in the spot I finally decide on.

And from the far wall across from the TV sitting on the couch.

You might want to figure out what's going under it first and put it a foot or two above that, it looks better overall that way. But just for viewing pleasure I think center 5-6ft up and a small angle is supposed to be ideal with you sitting 6-8 ft away.

Looks badass tho bud.

Likely, nothing will be going under it.

I will be putting a hole in the wall (finished of course) to put the Sat Receive and Xbox in so that all cabling can run behind the devices and viewers won't see them like they are now.

Also,
I am considering dropping the TV about 4-6 Inches I think and to the right about 2 feet.

Like I say, just experimenting with position and height since that wall needs to be plastered and painted, might as well plug it full of holes now, and once I decide on position, finish up the wall. :)

leave room for a possible 7.1 speaker setup. You need some awesome sound to compliment your awesome TV :).
