So, I can't help but notice, that through all the flaming that went on in this thread... My wife was not added to the LAN list... I made a big stink about wanting to attend this LAN, because I know how friggin' awesome it's going to be - It always is - every year! I miss oldschool lans, and while fraga held a bit of that nostalgia for me (the big talk - atendees will remember) it wasn't quite the same as a GL event...

But, if there's no room for Ki, then you might as well give my spot to somebody else.

portable lan desk idea.

i saw this at Canadian Tire today and picked one up, it is small, but of reaonable quality(10yr warranty) and provides reasonable space if space is limited. $59.95 at Canadian Tire in Millwoods town centre, they got a stack of them, and a demo a few ilses away

click the link to see a typical setup used

http://www.studiorta.com/catalog/detail ... log_id=353

if used with the comp on the side, it should provide a reasonable amount of space for a user.

I am gonna make the suggestion that maybe a few people consider buying one for their personal use at our lans, especially those who come to lans with a small foot print. or,... maybe the lan fund can buy some? There will be at least 2 at the lan, mine and ravens.

Suggestions, comments?

A limited supply of surprisingly, as this homeboy is poised for the big time. Sweet and pure like a honey coated nun, SOULS well sure he funky in the 70s.

Crap. She's been added. Thanks Dodgy. Hope you'll still come to visit.

Zero,

Can that tower fit on the shelf? then you could fit those shoulder to shoulder so to speak, I may go get one this week... but I will get one for sure soon if I cannot get one this week.

i do not think you can get the comp anywhere on the top self, if you mount your machine sideways on the bottom shelf, maybe. I will go test that out in a little

Thanks Zero/Latency.

And that's a great table man, easy to pack around and use for other things aside from LAN'ing...

Going beside the shelf would be okay, becuase you are going to need some elbow room anyway... Going behind the unit might also work.

I tried to pick one of those up, but the canadian tire in leduc didn't look like they had any.
