Pretty decent. Better than the $500 someone wanted to charge me for a used X2 4800+. This 3800+ will probably reach those speeds overclocked anyways. Personally, I would rather upgrade to a Core 2 than blow $200 on old technology.
Latency, I just bought 2 x 3800+ X2 s939 for the office for 69$ each from TigerDirect.ca.
At the cheapest end the Core2 conversion is about $400. Thats not that cheap, but it's so much faster than just settling for a X2. Realistically people should be looking at this as a starting point and going form there. It's barely worth putting more than a $150-200 into old systems when you can get into something like this for not a lot of money.
A limited supply of surprisingly, as this homeboy is poised for the big time. Sweet and pure like a honey coated nun, SOULS well sure he funky in the 70s.
