GL MOVIE OUTING

Post by Grapeman »

WHen Feb 17th
Movie: Ghost Rider
Where: South Common
Why: Am I the first one posting this.

Anyway I know it is Nicholas Cage but I am hoping he doesnt screw this up. Lets meet up at BP's first (around 6) and have food and beer before we go. Hell I grew up reading this comic and the story was kick ass (to an 8 yr old kid anyways)

JR, Touque, Sceptre and all you other fellow old fuckers like me should remember this guy. I am sure it is why we all got into bikes for awhile.

There are plenty of actors that could of played the human side of G Rider...

over Cage, but I am also sure they didn't want just the comic geeks to flock the movie, and to get non-comic geeks to the movie, Cage is a decent choice.

Matt Dillon

Dude who played Daredevil... but since he did a marvel hero, kinda weird to have him do another, but he could.

Matt Damon.

Karl Urban (in such movies as Riddick, Doom, LOTR Trilogy)

You don't want to, to young of a guy... as the G Rider has lived his life, and is now paying for it.

So what about the rest of ya?

I propose we hit BP's around 6-ish and hit the movie after some grub and a pint or two.

All of those people are too big to play Ghost Rider. GR is not a muscle-bound behemoth. This would be like saying Vin would be good as spiderman. Physical size != suitability for a superhero role.
cage is a pussy.
It remains to be seen whether Cage can pull off a superhero movie, but he is a talented actor, more so than many of his colleagues.
